Skellig View.

This screenprint of the Kerry landscape was printed in Oct 2010 and consists of 11 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 10 prints.
The print depicts a view of the famous Skellig Islands, off the Kerry coast. On the left is Little Skellig (Skellig Bheag), and on the right is the Great Skellig (Skellig Mhichil).
With a sixth-century Christian monastery perched on a ledge close to the top, Great Skellig is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The view is from Valencia Island, with Horse Island and Long Island in the mid-distance.

About Original Prints

An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.
Each of the prints is in a Limited Edition (A print run of a set length that is not exceeded or reprinted).
Each print is signed and numbered by Aidan Flanagan the artist to guarantee its quality, and that the edition is limited to the declared number of prints.
The Limited Edition for each print varies. In general, the larger size prints are in smaller Editions. Details regarding Edition size and number of layers accompanies each print.
By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
